FoodArts Toasts the Philip Guston Roma Exhibit at the Phillips Collection - 4/21, 4/28, 5/12

On April 21st, 28th, and May 12th, join FoodArts in the Vradenburg Cafe for food, wines, and spirits as we celebrate the Philip Guston, Roma exhibit. FoodArts will feature Italian wines, beers, and cocktails at "Happy Hour" pricing from 5pm - 7pm. Make sure you take the opportunity to enjoy the fabulous exhibit in its final weeks.

Enjoy Virginia Wines at Corcoran Cafe by FoodArts During Fotoweek DC

Visit the Corcoran Cafe by FoodArts during FotoweekDC 2010 at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Saturday, November 6 - Saturday, November 13. FoodArts will feature wines from local Virginia Wineries. Enjoy your wines with delicious soups, gourmet salads, and sandwiches from the FoodArts Cafe.

In celebration of its role as FotoWeek Central for FotoWeekDC 2010, the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design will open its doors Monday, November 8 and Tuesday, November 9 - days the museum is normally closed - and will be FREE of admission those days and all throughout the FotoWeek DC festival (Saturday, November 6 - Saturday, November 13).

 
 

Fun, Fresh, and Healthy at the Just Imagine Cafe by FoodArts

Visit our FoodArts Cafe at the Imagination Stage where we feature delicious and healthy salads--like our black bean and mango, and edamame. Try our one of our new paninis including Ham with Dill Havarti, Pear, Spinach and Dijonnaise, Turkey with Lemon-Thyme Cream Cheese, Cranberry Chutney, and Arugula, or the Roasted Eggplant & Red Onion with Feta and Red Pepper Mayonnaise. Just in time for the cooler weather, try our marvelous Turkey Chili.

FoodArts Executive Chef Julia Phillips will prepare a menu of Beer Mustard Glazed Bratwurst, Braised Red Cabbage, and German Potato Salad. The foods will be paired with German Marzen styled beers, along with delicious Rieslings served by our bar maid, Helga.

Join us September 22 from 11:30-1:30, when FoodArts Chef Julia Phillips will prepare a "Chef's Table" using fresh seasonal vegetables and organic meats from the Bethesda Farmers Market. On the menu, for just $10: Butternut Apple Soup with Sage Butter and Arugula Salad with Pear, Shaved Asiago Cheese and Lemon Thyme Vinaigrette. Redskins Field Dedication May 15th, 2010,
This past Saturday, May 15th, FoodArts catered the Field Dedication at Beacon Field House for the Washington Redskins. On Saturday, the Redskins aided in dedicating the refurbished football field, located on Evarts Street NE. The improvements, funded in part by the Redskins and the NFL, included a newly resurfaced field, bleachers and an electronic scoreboard. Redskin’s owner Daniel M. Snyder attended the celebration along with Williams, tight end Chris Cooley and linebacker/defensive ends Chris Wilson and Jeremy Jarmon. A great time was had by all!

The Fashion Group International® of Greater Washington D.C., Inc. in collaboration with the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Corcoran College of Art + Design presents Eco Chic: Night of Stars and Rising Stars.

The awards evening will recognize pioneers of the Eco Chic movement for their ecological and ethical design in fashion, art, beauty, architecture and interior design.

The cocktail reception will feature a fashion presentation and video clips of the latest Eco Chic designs followed by the preeminent Eco Chic awards ceremony in the auditorium. The evening will conclude with guests receiving a gift bag filled with eco-themed products supplied by the sponsors and members of Fashion Group.

As part of Earth Day celebration, Earth Day Network is coordinating Green Hours throughout Washington, D.C. and FoodArts is thrilled to be a part of this event. On March 18th, and March 25th, FoodArts will be hosting Green Hour at The Phillips, serving organic wines and local beers to our patrons. In partnering with the Earth Day Network, $1 of each drink will be donated towards Earth Day Network. In addition, patrons who donate $25 or more to Earth Day Network at each event will receive a voucher for one free drink (only good at the event).
